Livestock Farmers Using GMO Grains are Losing Their Animals

Why are livestock farmers that are using GMO grains to feed their livestock losing their animals through die-offs and increased stillbirths? These farmers are all being duped into thinking that they will make more money when their crops and feed are geo-engineered to be pest resistant.

The list of damage done by Monsanto’s genetically modified crops and their RoundUp insecticide, keeps growing. Some dairy farms are reporting a 70 percent abortion rate in their animals. High concentrations of a small new virus-sized pathogen are being found in Monsanto’s RoundUp Ready products. This pathogen is yet unnamed. It has been found in soybean meal, corn, distillers meal and fermentation feed products. It is now turning up in pig stomach contents and pig and cow placentas.

Syngenta is by law required to register the results of feeding studies with the appropriate authorities. Yet, Syngenta committed a grave criminal offense by deliberately withholding the results of a feeding trial in which four cows died in two days.

The company recently agreed to pay $105 million to settle a class-action lawsuit in which water utilities in the U.S. Midwest claimed Syngenta’s weed killer Atrazine had contaminated their drinking water. Atrazine chemically castrates and feminizes wildlife and reduces their immunity functions.

Reports and Incidences

> An estimated 270,000 smaller farms in the Philippines are being forced to grow GM corn. As a result, they are ending up in debt. Despite good initial crops, subsequent crops need increasing volumes of expensive fertilizers and agro-chemicals. Farmers growing Bt-corn are experiencing stomach pains, diarrhea, chest pains, and skin allergies. Their horses, water buffaloes and chickens are dying off more quickly now.

> Thousands of animals (including sheep, goats, cattle and buffalo) are dying all across India. Their livestock had been grazing on cotton crops and non-GMO feed for years with no problem. When shepherds let sheep graze on Bt cotton plants, thousands died. Buffalo grazing on these new GM crops die in days.

> Iowa farmer Jerry Rosman lost his family farm due the corn he was feeding his livestock. He started to use GM corn in feed in 1997 without any trouble, but then things changed in 2000 when he switched to a different company’s genetics with a new genetically modified trait. His cows and hogs were being made sterile.

> Gottfried Gloeckner, a farmer in Germany, lost cows and had to put down more due to serious illnesses. All his animals were being fed Syngenta’s Bt 176 corn by the year 2000. This compelled him to stop using GM feed in 2002. He approached the Robert Koch Institute and Syngenta to conduct a full investigation. They investigated only one cow and the conclusions are still unavailable to the public.

Farmers are one of our nation’s greatest resources. Below I have posted a famous video about what they mean to us. Let’s come together and help avoid this harm to them.

Their Effect on Human Health

As you might suspect, humans are not immune to the effects of GM products either. GMO influenced products are increasingly invading our supermarket shelves. The thing is, there are no laws that demand that products containing GMOs be labeled as such.

Studies have proven that the gene inserted into just GM soy transfers into the DNA of bacteria living inside our intestines and continues to function. The gene never goes away, so that we still may have potentially harmful GM proteins being produced inside of us. Our good intestinal bacteria is transformed into a living pesticide factory for possibly the rest of our lives! I don’t know about you, but I think my body could be used to generate better things than pesticides.

Conclusions

Safety assessments of new GM products need to be tested independently. Tests should not be controlled by the very companies pushing GMO based products into the market place. Conflicts of interests are covering up research study data that is crucial to our farming industry and animal welfare, as well as human health.

Our farmers need our help in coming together to outlaw the use of GM products as feed for their animals and GM insecticides for their crops. This practice is not only killing their crops and livestock but is also affecting humans. The disastrous effects will even become worse over time.

People should stay away from any products containing soy, corn derivatives, Canola oil from cottonseeds and sugar from sugar beets unless any of these products are truly organic and labeled as such. By doing this, you and your family will stay much healthier over a longer period of time.

Update: (5/11/2015) The Interconnections Between the TPP, Jade Helm, ISIS and the Elimination of Christianity In this article, you will find out where the coming TPP trade agreement will take America in relation to Monsanto and other bio-tech food corporations. We will have NO control over what we eat and food will be used as a weapon of an out of control corporate controlled world government.

I wish you the best of “believing” in all of your future endeavors,
